Africa’s Renaissance – Our Story
Africa’s Renaissance is a British–Ghanaian leadership platform dedicated to the renaissance of Africa through leadership recognition, strategic dialogue, and high-level gala events.
The platform exists to celebrate African leadership excellence, elevate governance standards, and reconnect African enterprises with a global diaspora committed to investing, building, and shaping the continent’s future.
Our Origins
Africa’s Renaissance began not as an event, but as a thought-provoking concept story authored by Bianca Akweley Clinton ESQ, a dual-qualified Solicitor of England & Wales and Ghana- Managing Partner of the award winning law firm The Law office of Clinton Consultancy in Ghana, Clinton Corporate Consultancy Ltd and Founder of Raindrops on Petals Ltd.
First published and widely circulated in 2023, Africa’s Renaissance used the analogy of an African market woman to reflect on the state of leadership, the economy, and politics across the continent. The story served as both a cautionary and aspirational narrative—highlighting how far Africa has drifted from the vision of its founding fathers, particularly Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, while calling for a renewed era of principled, accountable, and visionary leadership.
